Overview
Feature Packages enable you to bundle specific features and pre-configure settings into a package that can be easily applied to subaccounts. Each subaccount is required to have one feature package assigned. If you create a new account without any pre-existing feature packages, you will be prompted to create one before proceeding.
This article covers the Manage Feature Packages page. To read about creating new feature packages and editing existing features packages, see our Create / Edit Feature Packages article.
To get started, navigate to Reseller > Settings > Manage Feature Packages.
The Manage Feature Packages page
The Manage Feature Packages page contains a table of created or pre-existing feature packages. The table consists of the following columns:
- Name - Contains the name of the respective feature package.
- Accounts - Provides a number reflecting how many accounts are assigned this feature package.
- Courses/Course Programs - Provides the number of both courses and programs that are within the feature package.
- Settings - Provides an overview of the configured settings via icons. If an icon is blue, then that setting is enabled for that feature package. Otherwise, it is not. Further, each icon, when hovered on, displays the name of the respective setting.
-
Actions - The Actions column is dependent on if the feature package is editable:
- If it is not editable, a "View" button will be displayed. Clicking on the "View" button will take you to the "Edit Account Feature Package" modal, where settings will be displayed but cannot be edited.
- The dropdown next to the "View" button displays another "View" button, which is the same as above.
- If it is editable, an "Edit" button will be displayed. Clicking on the "Edit" button will take you to the "Edit Account Feature Package" modal, wherein its settings are configurable.
- The dropdown next to the "Edit" button displays an "Edit" button, which is the same as above. The dropdown also contains a "Delete" button, which is only present if and only if a feature package has no assignments to an account. Clicking this will delete the respective feature package.
- If it is not editable, a "View" button will be displayed. Clicking on the "View" button will take you to the "Edit Account Feature Package" modal, where settings will be displayed but cannot be edited.
The Manage Feature Packages page also contains, on the top-right of the table, three buttons:
- Filter - Opens the "Filter Feature Packages" modal, allowing for the filtering of the table containing feature packages.
- + Package - Opens the "Add Account Feature Package" modal.
- Export - Allows for the exporting of the table in CSV, Excel, or PDF format. Further, the "Copy" option will copy the table information to the clipboard.
