What is the "Net Reporter Score" (NRS)?

The Net Reporter Score (NRS) is a way to calculate the overall success rate of your phishing campaign. For all test emails sent to your targets, it is the difference, as a percentage, of the number of targets that failed the phishing campaign and the number that reported the test emails. It follows the simple formula below:

((Total Reported - Total Failed) / Total Targets) * 100

If more targets fail than report, the score will be negative. If more report than fail, the number will be positive. If every target fails, the NRS will be -100. If every target reports, the NRS will be 100.

Example: if 18% of the targets included in a test failed and only 5% reported, then the NRS score of the test would be -13%.

Before a target can report the email as phishing, they must have the KillPhish or Report Phishing plugin installed. (However, Portal admins can manually log report actions on their tests.
