Industry metrics are displayed to show how your testing activity compares to the average of your industry.
Metrics
The My account section on the Dashboard will display the industry metrics. The average fail rate for an account for the last two years, as well as the industry average from last year. Industry Metrics show benchmark results aggregated across all accounts for the selected year. Metrics are target-based and reflect performance across targets in each industry.
Industry Failure Rate Calculation:
failed phishing emails to that industry ÷ total phishing emails sent to that industry, excluding pilot campaign emails.
Account Failure Rate Calculation
failed phishing emails in Account ÷ total phishing emails sent, excluding pilot campaign emails.
Edit Industry
It is possible to edit the industry of an account at any time. There are two ways to accomplish this, the first being on the Dashboard. From here, use the Edit button next to the industry name in the My Account section. A popup will display with all available industries in the dropdown.
The second way to update your industry is from the Account information page found under administration. Clicking the 'Change' button will bring you to the edit account page, where you can select a new industry from the dropdown.
