Manage Advertisements Page
The Manage Advertisements page contains the Current Ads tab, which is the default tab, as well as the Expired Ads tab.
Ads can be created by selecting the "+ Add Advert" button on the top-right, which will bring up the "Add Advert" module. This module contains the following configurations that can be done for the advert:
- Background - Allows for the configuration of the background pattern, size, and color palette.
- Schedule - Allows for the configuration of when the Advert will begin and end. Once an Advert ends, it will appear in the Expired Ads tab.
- Content - Allows for the configuration of the title, text, link (that is clickable on the Dashboard page), text color, graphic type, font type, graphic size, and icon of the advert.
Clicking "Cancel" will take you out of the "Add Advert" module, and the Advert will not be created.
Clicking "Save" will create the Advert and cause the Advert to appear on the Current Ads tab and Dashboard page.
Current Ads tab
The Current Ads tab provides an overview of all active advertisements that are appearing on the Dashboard page. Each advert will appear in the order that is displayed on the Current Ads tab on the Dashboard page (top being first). The order of Adverts can be configured by clicking on and dragging the relevant Advert to the desired location. The Current Ads tab also displays the following information of each Advert:
- A preview of the Advert (displayed how it is on the Dashboard page), and
- A brief overview of the title, description, and start and end dates of the Advert.
Furthermore, there are two buttons on the right-hand side of each advert:
- Deactivate - This will remove the Advert from the Dashboard page and Current Ads tab, and move them to the Expired Ads tab.
- Edit - This will open the "Edit Advert" module, which contains the same configuration abilities of the "Add Advert" module. To the right of the "Edit" button, there is a dropdown that contains the same "Deactivate" and "Edit" buttons, along with a "Delete" button. The Delete button will remove the Advert from the Dashboard page, Current Ads tab, and will not appear in the Expired Ads tab.
Expired Ads tab
The Expired Ads tab provides a table of Adverts that have surpassed their set end date. The table includes the following columns:
- Preview - Upon hovering on the preview icon, the Advert will appear.
- Title - The title of the Advert.
- Start - The start date and time of the Advert.
- End - The end date and time of the Advert.
- Actions - A "Clone" button to re-create the same Advert, and opens the "Add Advert" module for any desired configuration (if at all). The Actions column also contains a dropdown next to the "Clone" button that contains the "Delete" button, which will will remove the Advert from the Dashboard page, Current Ads tab, and Expired Ads tab.
Furthermore, the information in the table can be exported using the "Export" button on the top-right of the table. Exports can be CSV files, Excel files, PDF files, or copied to the clipboard.
